My Sister’s Exhibition

It’s not easy being an artist – especially in this country – but just imagine how dim our world would be without them…

I consider what I do as a part of the creative world, but my sister is slap-bang in the middle of it. We all know a struggling artist somewhere; those normally struggling passionate people who have dedicated their lives to pursuing the passion of their craft, and we all know how important it is for us to support them because it is most certainly not easy.

My sister has been making art since I can remember and she’s come a long way in our lives together, in fact, I have a number of her works in my office and in my home – she’s having an exhibition on Friday, 28 November 2014, in Cape Town. I’ll be there and I hope to see a couple of familiar faces there too, supporting my sister and the greater art community of Cape Town, and indeed South Africa! So come along and see my sister’s art – who know’s, maybe you’ll walk home with a little bit of the Bonello family!
